Tourism and administration employees from the Hungarian municipalities Lenti and Szombathely visit the Styrian Vulkanland. László Horváth, mayor of Lenti and collegues are gathering inspiration for innovative, location-based systems to bind purchasing power. Stefan Preininger, one of the initiators of the longest fashion shopping street in Feldbach, takes our guests on a journey full of positive motivation for stronger cooperation between authorities and trade entrepreneurs. Together with his wife he runs the shop “Stoffwechsel”, a best practice example for fair trade fashion. The mayor of Feldbach, Josef Ober, presents the project pop-up store as well as cultural initiatives and the citys’ approach for more open- and friendliness towards children and families. Nikoletta Kóbor explains the Vulcano philosophy, her smile promises a visit in (ham)heaven. The number of visitors at the international ham festival each year in June is an interesting measuring parameter for the level of awareness for the brand. At castle Kornberg Andreas Bardeau talks about the alliance castle road, formed by currently 35 castles and fortresses in Austria and Slovenia, talks with prospective members in Hungary have already started. The castle road aims at receiving the recognition as Unesco-World Heritage site for the whole cooperation.
