On 27 September 2012 the World Tourism Organization is celebrating the 33rd World Tourism Day. 2012 the theme of the day is “Tourism and Sustainable Energy – Powering Sustainable Development“. The celebrations are aiming at pointing out the importance of tourism and its social, economical, political and cultural values. We used the occasion to think about how we in our daily work are contributing to a sustainable development and where we could do more.
